The great Flemish artist Peter Paul Rubens lived in a distant era from us and painted canvases with religious, mythological, and allegorical subjects. He also painted portraits - about a hundred of them. It was said that the master worked almost without rest: he would wake up and immediately start working. His popularity was such that he couldn't keep up with all the orders he received. That's when his students came to his aid, many of whom also left their mark on the history of painting. Rubens' bright and original creativity placed him among the top masters of world art.
