Five-year-old Jack spent his entire life in one room. This Room was a whole world for him and a prison for his mother, who had been languishing there for seven years. They played, read books, watched TV here. Jack thought that everything he saw on the screen was just a fantasy and that there was nothing beyond the room, only an endless cosmos. But his mother knew that their abode was a soundproof shed in the backyard of a madman. She was able to provide her son with a full development, but Jack was growing up, and with him grew his curiosity. Sooner or later, the room would become too small for them. They needed to escape from captivity, but their jailer was very cruel and dangerous...
