The lyrical chronicle of the “Ivnitsa” of the Nizhny Novgorod writer and poet Fedor Sukhov talks about the tragedy that happened in 1943 in the Kursk region and is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
There are two parts in the book. The first - autobiographical and documentary - tells about the author’s visit to the places where he fought, twenty years after the end of the war, about meetings with ordinary people recalling the war, about the memories inspired by the campaign.
The second part of the lyrical chronicle is an artistic story built on the diary records of a German officer who was in Yivnitsa as part of the occupation forces.
In the editorial offices offered to readers, the book was published for the first time.
compilers: Sukhova E., Groysman Ya
