Once a storm on the night of 1928, a huge whale is thrown to the shore of the British Canal. According to the law, the body of the animal belongs to the king, but the twelve -year -old Crystable has other plans. Together with her brother, sister and several households, she organizes the theater in the giant skeleton of the whale. There, she can hide from worthless adoptive parents and their stupid educational undertaking.
