Varangian saga

IX century. The fire of the war forces a handful of forest residents in the south of Scandinavia to leave their native places and become Vikings, entrusting his fate to the sea and luck. Among the adventure seekers - and the young Ansgar, who, together with his brother and friends, enters the squad of Baldra Krivoy, who directs his fighter to the east. The Baldr intends to serve the legendary king Rorik, who has settled in the land of the Slovenians, and Ansgar with the rest of the squad follows the leader, not yet knowing what a whirlpool he will please. Ansgar becomes an involuntary participant in the brutal struggle for power, which served as a prologue to create an ancient Russian state. He will fight and kill, love and curse.
