Both stories are supplemented by information from the Central Archive of the Armed Forces and Archive of Military Medical Documents of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The book was awarded the Literary Prize of the FSB of Russia for the best work of literature and art about the activities of the Federal Security Service (2008)
