King Pedru I, son of Alfons IV, ruled Portugal from 1358 to 1367. Being a crown prince, he fell in love with a woman who gave birth to him Bastard children. His father cut down his chosen one at the altar of the Church. The prince did not reconcile with such cruelty of the king, which led to the Civil War. As a result, Pedru ascended the throne, shifting a despotistical father, and put a corpse of a former lover next to him on the throne!
