In the novel "Oath of the Grand of the Lord, the Field describes the events of 1433-1441 - the struggle of the descendants of Dmitry Donskoy for the Grand Duke. The conceived "comedy about how Vasily Kosoy and his brother Dimitri Shemyak quarreled at a wedding feast with Grand Duke Vasily Vasilyevich Dark .., and about what followed of this, turned out to be a tragedy. Russian princes, blinded by ambition, burned in the fire of a feud, bringing only suffering and trouble. Another storyline of the novel is the topic of restoring the independence of the Principality of the Suzdal Principality. The old servant of the Suzdal princes Ivan Hudnik (a fictional mysterious character) took an oath to the Lord’s coffin in Jerusalem to return the lost possessions to the exiled princes. However, attempts to violent restoration forcibly disturbed justice entailed a new evil.
