Germany, 1939. The thirteen -year -old Magda is devastated: Lotta’s best friend was sent to a concentration camp, forever separated from her. And when the Nazis come to power, Magda understands: she is not like other girls in her village. She hates the fanatical new rules of the Hitler Youth, so secretly joins the White Rose movement to fight against a despotistical, frightening world around.
