It doesn’t matter how you ended up here, sailed on a ferry or drove a thousand kilometers by car - this is the perfect place to relax and not rush anywhere. Here, local residents and guests of the island collect a sweet blackberry, spend time after a good book and enjoy the views of the noisy ocean, in which the sun is drowning every day.

Blackberry Island is located near Seattle. It was opened in 1792 by George Vancouver, the captain of the British Fleet, who studied the Gulf of Puchete Sound. The American settlers, who arrived on the island in 1848, named the island in honor of fruit shrubs, which grew everywhere. The initial name of the blackberry island is the island of Feather Island.
In 1889, the population of the island doubled. It was then that the Tower Sisters were built, which will be discussed in the second book of the cycle.
The tourism industry today remains the main branch of the Blackmarket Island.
