In 1954-1960, Georgy Mokeevich Markov wrote a continuation of the story of the Family Sibiryakov Strogenovs - the novel "Sol of the Earth", where he traced the fate of the children and grandchildren of Matvey in detail, who had already changed their social status, who became scientists, employees, party workers - not so much "Sowers" how many converters of post -war Siberia. It is quite in the spirit of the time in the novel that the image of a young rebel with the character of the “sixties" - graduate student Alexei Krayukhin appears.
