Daniel Smite Smith, Count Winsted, who shot his friend during a duel, was hiding for three years abroad from the pursuers hired by Count Ramsgate-an angry father of the wounded. Upon learning that he was forgiven, Daniel returned home - and immediately passionately fell in love with a lovely girl who played piano during a family concert.
