Britain at the beginning of the XVII century. Katerina Arundel is only seventeen, but in her chest the brave irreconcilable heart of the hero beats. Having become an involuntary witness to the death of her father, a secret opponent of existing power, she makes herself an oath to avenge his death.
But who to blame if the villains acted by order of Elizabeth I itself? Having changed into men"s clothes, the girl rides to London for the only purpose - to kill the queen.
This can be done only in one way - by blowing a blade during the premiere of the performance, arranged in honor of Her Majesty. Under the guise of artist young man, Katerina enters the troupe of the Great Shakespeare. The failure threatens the inevitable execution, but then love intervenes in the fate of the brave adventurer
