In the novel Golden Scarab there is a story of the Stroganov family. Peter I did not really like the titled nobility and gave Stroganov, this energetic, active, talented people, his naming - eminent people. There were two families, Stroganovs and Demidovs in the Urals. About these surnames, whose representatives left a noticeable mark in history, will be discussed. However, the story is whimsical, capricious and changeable: either he loves some and despises others, then he chooses completely unknown people into the “heroes” and offers them to the pedestal, hold them in a high place - and dumps them in summer for oblivion.
