The first volume of the chosen works of the Russian writer Ivan Gurin entered the novel "Black Copper" and the story "Conspiracy".
In the novel "Black Copper", covering a long period of time (1749-1864), the fate of the heroes, primarily the "main chieftain and the camping colonel of the Pugachev army, Ivan Beloborodov, a fellow countryman, a prose writer, can be traced. He tells the first civilian, in no way peasant in Russia, he tells truthfully, capaciously and original, presenting them in a new interpretation, which makes the historical narrative an epic, fascinating, modern work.
The story "Conspiracy" - about the events that took place in the mid -seventies of the XX century at the foot of Mount Mashuk, where M.Yu. was killed on July 15, 1841 on a duel. Lermontov. The author reveals the image of Mikhail Lermontov through the spiritual and temporal connection of the era of the famous writer with today and shows how the heroes of the story, vacationers in Pyatigorsk, respond to the fate of the wonderful son of Russia. And the intricacies of the goy of the fatal duel, which still keeps a lot of secret, turn out to be their commitment to truth and moral clarity in understanding the vicissitudes of the current life.
