The second half of the XIX century. Boris, the eldest of the two Gorbatov brothers, was in the exile for many decades: first in hard labor, and then in exile. Once he joined the Decembrists, attended Senate Square, and this ended sadly. He was arrested, and during the search they found a portfolio with the papers "conspirators". The portfolio came to Boris from his younger brother, but the younger did not want to admit, the elder refused to testify against the younger and Boris alone should bear the load of responsibility, sent to Siberia.
