Martin leaves England to earn a fortune abroad, but very soon disappears. His wife Poppi until the last hopes for the best, but when she is informed of the terrible news, Martin was abducted in Central Asia, and his life can break at any time - she decides to a desperate act. Having dressed in the eastern robe, Poppi goes to the distant, mysterious Afghanistan, posing as a famous journalist.
