This book is published in a series telling about the Iran-Iraq war of 1980-88. It is dedicated to the frontal everyday life of Abadan - a city that can be called Iranian Leningrad. Located on the banks of the Arvand River Border with Iraq (Shatt El-Arab), this city had the most important strategic importance, and its capture could become the key to the victory of the Saddam forces over the young Islamic Republic. The Iraqis closed the blockade ring around Abadan, but could not overcome the heroic resistance of its defenders.
