Jack Turner lives in a coastal American town. His family is not rich, but there are friends with whom he has fun. Once, fishing, they meet a skeleton, a thin and hungry dog, and Jack immediately wants to take it to himself. But the father refuses to give Jack the money, so he has to look for a job in order to feed a new friend. So fate reduces Jack and Hank Pittman.
