1840. Belgravia, fashionable aristocratic district of London. It is here that the rich James Trenchard, in the past, a simple army quartermaster acquires the house. Many years ago, Sofia, his young and beautiful daughter, fell in love with Edmund Bellasis, the offspring of a wealthy aristocratic family. Edmund died in the battle of Waterloo, and soon Sofia died during the birth. Considering the boy illegitimate, her parents, in order not to disgrace his name, gave the child to raise a foster family. And only now, after twenty -five years, the true consequences of the events of 1815 began to be felt. For in this new world there are those who would prefer the secrets of the past to remain buried ... for the first time in Russian!
