But the Cossacks in Azov are going to stand to the end - at least against the whole of the Turkey! Even if the enemy guns turn the fortress to the ruins. Even if thousands of good lads are field in this battle. For too long the Turks and the Tatars allied to them ruined the South Russian land. Too many people are stabbed or taken into captivity, and among slaves, life is worse than in cattle. It"s time to get even! And this act of Cossacks will go down in history as the famous Azov seating
