The famous Soviet art critic and writer, a close friend of many victims of the Stalinist regime, Irakli Andronikov, addressing young generations, urged to take care of his heritage, to collect the past of outstanding persons, daring, and independent thinking of those who managed to continue to create in the era of executions and mass tortures. Bramed by the new ideas of building a fair society, they sought to embody these ideas in their creations, trying to tear themselves away, go their own way, often idealizing the new government, sometimes forgetting about a hostile bloody environment, covering up the concepts of socialist realism. Amalgam of feelings, concepts, behavioral characteristics of various layers of the intelligentsia during the formation and victories of the Stalinist regime became the subject of trials of the author of the presented work. Based on the personal memories supplemented by numerous documentary data, a picture of the creation of a new proletarian structure is recreated, which, as if the rink, is packed into the misery of its “class enemy” remaining after the revolution
