Nikolai Aleksandrovich Tsyganov was born in 1960 in the village of Glebovskoye in the Kirillovsky district of the Vologda region. He has been published in Vologda publications, as well as in Moscow literary and artistic journals 'Koster' and 'Yunost'. He is a laureate of the Interdistrict Awards named after Stanislav Mishnyov 'Under the Blue Sky' and Nina Gruzdeva 'Your Name', as well as the regional literary award named after Sergey Chukhin 'Tuning the Soul to Goodness...'. In 2022, the first author's book 'The Violin Sang' was published by the 'Rodniki' publishing house. For Nikolai Tsyganov, who lives in the world-famous ancient Kirillov, his native land has always been a special place of purity in life and creative behavior. Perhaps that is why the original poet does not imitate contemporary literary fashion, but follows the difficult path of traditional Russian literature. His poems are directed towards the human soul and eternal fidelity of love, towards the taste of bread, the smell of water and air, the unique miracle of the 'small homeland', and also towards the mysterious infinity of roads, because, as Hieromonk Seraphim (Rose) said, 'our life is just a wandering on the road home'.
