The book identified the characteristic features of Olympism as a cultural phenomenon who gained their development in a liberal society. The author introduces the concept of property of the athletes on their achievements and reveals the essence of sports of higher achievements in the context of the MiFo-archaic cult of champions, offering the reconstruction of the definition of Couterten"s "Religion of Attats". The problem of cultural identification is put in a detailed study of the Olympic movement.
