Between the ages of two and three, children experience active speech development. A child masters extended phrasal speech, the syllabic structure of words improves, and the grammatical structure of speech develops. Musical riddles and fill-in-the-blank games can help stimulate a child's speech activity, training their sense of rhythm and rhyme. This, in turn, develops phonemic (speech) hearing, which is necessary for forming oral and later written speech. The book offers riddles where words can be added to rhyme, as well as cards for working with quatrains. The answers here will be words of the first class of syllabic structure, consisting of two open syllables. Such words are the easiest for a child to pronounce. The riddles are designed for different ages and different levels of speech development. They are created not only for children whose speech is developing normally but also for children whose speech development is impaired.
