The book proposed by the reader is prof. MSU named after M.V. Lomonosova, Academician Rao Yu.V. Christmas (1926-1999) comprehensies and systematizes actual problems of rhetoric and the theory of communications in the future development of modern means of exchanging information and dynamics of the language of business communication, their place in society. Approach to solving problems that get up at the current stage of solving the development of communication forms (oral speech, written speech, the language of the media, the language of electronic communications), is determined by common cultural plants characteristic of the author"s research. The books are closely traced by the traditions of rhetorical science - both domestic and European, however, with undoubted clarity, the main differences between modern rhetorical trends are shown from the directions characteristic of the last period of the heyday of the Russian rhetoric - the first half of the XIX century. A special place in the book is assigned to the problems of didactics and their position in the general system of the modern Russian language.
