Rhetoric for Lawyers. Bilingual Course. Textbook

The educational material is prepared in accordance with the requirements of the federal state educational standard of higher education for the training directions 40.03.01 'Jurisprudence' (bachelor's level), 40.05.01 'Legal Support of National Security' and 40.05.03 'Forensic Expertise' (specialist level).
The presented material is aimed at developing the rhetorical skills of foreign students, necessary for creating effective argumentation, the ability to speak publicly and influence the persuasion of listeners, as well as language preparation in English for Russian-speaking students. Practical tasks involve the analysis of original text, working with the best examples of domestic and foreign oratory art.
The manual is intended to teach the laws of preparing and delivering public speeches, with the aim of achieving the desired impact on the audience in communicative-speech situations typical for the professional activity of a lawyer, in two languages: Russian and English.
