In the proposed textbook, the theoretical and practical issues of the study discipline "rhetoric" are outlined. It discloses the categories and laws of rhetoric, the main stages of the rhetorical canon are referred to, the rhetorical aspects of public speech and polemical skill are considered. Special attention is paid to the formation of a speaker and the formation of the necessary speakers, the communicative side of the judicial debate, the characteristics of the indictment of the prosecutor and the defensive speech of a lawyer. Each section of the manual contains questions for students. The training manual fully complies with the new standards of higher education in the direction of "Jurisprudence" (qualification "Bachelor") and prepared by the Teaching staff of the MGU. O.E.Kutafina, who developed the program of the learning discipline "Rhetoric". It is intended for students of law faculties and universities, studying on undergraduate programs, as well as all those interested in theoretical and applied aspects of rhetoric.
