The book systematizes the theory of the genre and, based on the analysis of six varieties of reviews (book, theater, musical, facilities, reviews of the festival and the exhibition) revealed the tactics of the beliefs used by journalists. The advertising component of the review and the modern cultural context of its existence are considered. One of the tasks of the monograph is to attract attention to such an interesting and multidimensional genre, which is a review. The practical and organizational nature of the publication gives the right to qualify it as a “allowance for writing reviews”.
