Having visited the Baltic countries for the first time at the age of eighteen, the author traveled through them for the next 33 years, visiting the Baltic shores a total of twelve times. The impressions accumulated over a third of a century cover various aspects of history, culture, sports, gastronomic preferences, and other aspects of life in these small countries, as well as the changing attitudes of the locals towards all sorts of newcomers, including those from Russia.
