The Monk Sergius Nuromsky, Greek by origin, worked on the Holy Mount Athos, but, having learned about the equangs of the Monk Sergius of Radonezh, he arrived at Russia to continue monastic work under the leadership of the great Russian saint. The book tells how the Athos monk became a hermit in the North Russian forests, what exploits he suffered, how he founded a monastery on the Nuroma River, as well as about the spiritual friendship of the saint with the Monk Pavel Obnorsky.
