In the study manual, for the first time in the domestic restoration science, a complex of materials on the restoration of historicals and arts in Russia in the XIX-XX centuries was summarized and set out. The task of the benefit is the formation of strong knowledge of durable knowledge on the evolution of the domestic restoration industry, the history of the formation of theoretical aspects of restoration science. Students will gain knowledge of specific personalities who played a role in the development of the restoration, on restoration processes on prominent monuments of architecture, ancient Russian art, easel painting, about the problems facing the restoration industry in general and in the event of the restoration of specific monuments or their groups in particular. This publication will make it possible to make the training activities of restorers more efficient, and therefore creating more favorable prerequisites for the preservation of national cultural heritage
