Each draft Sergey Skuratova consists of a variety of semantic layers, but every time there is one identifies the whole project theme. Accurately reading historical, cultural, political, urban-planning, stylistic and other meanings, the author always manage to find new forms of interaction with the territory. The project "Art House" of the architect was interested in the relationship of the old and new, namely the topic of the approval of modern architecture through the scale, material, texture and, albeit a few, but verified details. The object represents a new typology of a residential building for Moscow. On his first floors there are galleries, and the next floors are conceived as artistic workshops or apartments. "Art House" is one of those examples of architecture that is perceived as a pure object, a clean form. Of course, the "art house" has some similarity with examples from world practice, but, nevertheless, this residential complex is deprived of any borrowings and quotes - each architect object is comparable to a clearly thought out manifesto.
