This novel was inspired by the circumstances of dating and parting Mikhail Bulgakov with the princess Kira Kozlovskaya, described in the books House Margarita and Bulgakov and Margarita. 1921 came, the Bulgakov sits on the train in Kyiv with the intention to go to conquer Moscow, and then something completely impossible happened: coming to the capital, he discovers that on the calendar ...
