The collection continues a series of collective works of the Department of Popular Art Culture of the State Institute of Art of Art, devoted to the study of religiosity, faith and beliefs in traditional folk culture. The focus of the authors of the collection are the types and forms of folk art caused by life, due to folk religious traditions and ideas.
The collection presents different -ethnic and diverse material. And, accordingly, different types of folk religiosity: monotheism and its modified folk versions (folk Christianity, folk Buddhism), archaic cults and beliefs (shamanism, some types of folk cults) This allows you to demonstrate various options for the interaction of folk religious views and the cultural creativity arising on their basis in its diversity.
