This publication includes the case of the letters of Marseille Proust, written by him from 1885 to 1907, that is, aged fourteen to thirty -six years. By 1907, Proust had not yet gained universally recognized literary glory and only approached his main work "in search of lost time." Letters of the future author of the Great French Book of the twentieth century, most of which were not previously translated into Russian, are addressed to relatives, friends and instant writers (Anatol France, Alfons Dode, Robert de Montesquyu).
