The book "World Lamp" Rev. Seraphim Sarovsky was written by Metropolitan Benjamin (Fedchenkov) in 1933 and is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the death of St. Seraphim of Sarov. Being a wonderful spiritual writer, Vladyka Veniamin with particular love turned to life literature, stories about the holy saints of God, their exploits and miracles. So, in 1930-1931, in Paris and Vienna, Metropolitan Benjamin began work on the manuscript called "from that world", which tells about the events incomprehensible to the human mind, about the miracles and signs of God. A significant place in this work was dedicated to the holy elder Seraphim of Sarov. The book "World Lamp" included chapters from the above manuscript, as well as meaningful and revised by the author of the biographies of the Monk Seraphim, compiled by monks by Sergius, George and Joasaf, N.V.
