The posthumously published works of Metropolitan Benjamin (Fedchenkova) acquired the glory of one of the outstanding spiritual writers of the 20th century. The pre -revolutionary and foreign periods of his life, Vladyka, fully described in the autobiographical essay “At the turn of two eras”, but the years of service in the USSR are described fragmentarily in different works. Therefore, letters of Metropolitan Veniamin (Fedchenkova) for the first time published in this publication are so important to the spiritual daughter of the elder Nectria of the Optina poetess Nadezhda Alexandrovna Pavlovich.
