Reprint from the publication. SPb., 1914. Alexey Andreevich Stavrovsky (1834 - 1918, Kronstadt) - clergyman of the Russian Orthodox Church, archpriest. Counted for the Holy of the Russian Orthodox Church in 2001. Since August 19, 1896-Rector of the Church of St. Spyridon of Trimifunta in the Admiralty and the Dean of St. Petersburg Marine Churches. In 1918, Patriarch Tikhon was appointed the executing provinces of the Protopresbyter of the military and naval clergy. In August 1918, he was arrested by "revolutionary sailors". After the murder of Uritsky, he was shot among other hostages on a barge flooded behind Kronstadt. By the Decree of the Holy Synod of December 26, 2001, his name is included in the Cathedral of the New Martyrs and Confessors of the Church of the Russian XX century
