The instructions of the elder Mount Athos Archimandrite Gabriel Dionysiata (1886-1983) cover all aspects of the layout of the layman: storage of the truths of Orthodoxy, an increase in asceticism, the education of adolescents, the choice of lifestyle (marriage or celibacy), the role of a woman in society, issues of education, the harmfulness of foreign pseudo-pseudo-cultures, and The importance of national traditions. The book can also be a gift to the priest, since Archimandrite Gabriel, being the guardian of the Athos traditions of the Orthodox faith and asceticism, writes with humility and love about the problems of shepherds and monks. The second part of the book reveals the personal feat of this humble and God -loving abbot, whose share of which a lot of life tests fell.
