The collection includes sermons, which are part of the unique spiritual heritage of the Tashkent and Central Asian diocese of the 1943-1970s. The words of the ascetics and confessors of the faith who served here during these years are Archbishop Ermogen (Golubeva), Archimandrite Boris (Kholchev), Archpriest George Ivakin -Rodinogin, Archimandrite Serafim (Sutorikhin) and Hieromonk John (Vendland), the future Metropolitan of Yaroslavl and Rostov - contributed to - contributed to create church life in Central Asia during Soviet persecution of the Church. These instructions of spiritual teachers, true shepherds, preachers, theologians, people widely educated and enlightened, uttered more than 50 years ago, have not lost their strength and relevance today.
Incrives are published for the first time, not counting those that entered the Samizdat collections, who walked around in Soviet times and inaccessible to a wide range of readers. The publication is accompanied by brief information about preachers and photographs from personal archives.
