The purpose of this publication is the presentation and study of events related to Christmas. A comparison of the two versions of the story of Christmas, presented in the Gospels from Matthew and Luke, allows us to identify the characteristic features of the story of each evangelist and at the same time emphasize the unity of their testimony of the Son of God and the Son of the Human.
The author, relying primarily on biblical texts and patristic comments on them, also attracts and critically analyzes the wide range of modern scientific literature on biblicalism.
The publication is of a popular science nature, all materials are presented with an accessible language and are addressed to a wide range of readers striving for a deeper understanding of the Holy Scriptures
