The glorification of Tsar Nicholas II at the Bishop Cathedral of the Russian Orthodox Church in 2000 posed with new vigor questions that our society did not fully answer either the Soviet era or later: what kind of Russian emperor was for a person? What significance does it have for Russia? Often you can hear that the king was glorified for "political" reasons, and the ruler was weak and an ordinary person. This book is published in the year of the 100th anniversary of the execution of the royal family. Three essays are presented to the reader, sober and balanced, based solely on the facts and living testimonies of people. The conclusion suggests itself: the glorification of the king was neither a mistake nor a case.
