On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of his Holiness, the Holy Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Kirill, the book “Patriarch Kirill was published. Thoughts for every day of the year ”, which became the fruit of cooperation between the general church graduate school and doctoral studies of the named after the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Cyril and Methodius and the Holy-Vladimir Orthodox Seminary in New York (USA).
The publication was based on the thoughts of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, covering the period for more than 35 years of pastoral ministry and theological works of his Holiness.
Materials for the book were carefully selected from fragments of sermons, reports, scientific articles, interviews of Patriarch Kirill.
On the pages of this work, the reader meets the patriarch Kirill as a shepherd and thinker of the Church of Christ, who draws attention to the most important issues of modernity, as genuine freedom and the image of God in man, determining spiritual priorities, preserving Christian civilization, the need to find a new language and creative ways to preach Christian values in modern conditions
