The monograph proposes an original method based on the superposition of two approaches to the study of religion: as the worship of the shrine (religious demand) and as interaction (religious proposal), in this case, priests and laity (believers) A model of religious interaction has been built, which allows a quantitative assessment of a religious proposal in modern Russia to the proposal of the Russian Orthodox Church. The theoretical model is tested on the data of quantitative empirical research "50 confessions in Moscow parishes" and the wide empirical material of high-quality field research laboratory of the religion of the Orthodox Holy Tikhonovsky University (PSTU) in 2003-2017.
