The monograph is a historical and theological study devoted to attempts to comprehend the metaphysics of unity in Russian theology of the XIX - the first half of the twentieth century. The works of F.V. Schelling, I.V. Kireevsky, A. S. Khomyakov, V. S. Solovyov, as well as representatives of academic theology in Russia - Bishop of Mikhail (Gribanovsky) and Metropolitan Anthony (Khrapovitsky) are considered. It is shown how their ideas were perceived and creatively processed by the priest Pavel Florensky, the "theodicium" and the anthropodsium of which are represented as two consistent stages of the formation of the theological concept of unity. This concept compare theological developments of prot. Sergius Bulgakov and the polemic reaction to them prot. George Florovsky and V. N. Lossky. A large number of sources have been attracted, many of which have not yet been investigated in terms of their influence on domestic theology.
