The book offers not only the biography of St. Sergius, but is a kind of guide to the Holy Trinity Sergius Lavra and its environs. The first part introduces the life of St. Sergius and his holy interlocutors. The second part is dedicated to the history of monasteries founded by students and interlocutors of the Monk: Savvino-Sorozhevsky, Kirillo-Belozersky, Mozhaisky Luzhetsky, and others.
A special part is the descriptions of temples and cathedrals of the Holy Trinity Sergius Lavra with the instructions of the main shrines located in them. For pilgrims, reference information is attached.
