The collection presents the materials of the Seventh International Scientific and Practical Conference "The tradition of patristic catechesis", which the Holy Filaret Orthodox-Christian Institute conducted in May 2016. This time, the topic was chosen for discussion: "Kerigmatic sermon about Christ listeners and enlightened."
The conference set the following tasks for the participants: to try to restore the main meanings regarding the Christian testimony, to outline the ways of cleansing the preaching of Christ, on the one hand, from all sorts of impurities alien to it in the spirit and form of , on the other - try to make a clear difference Between teaching, instruction in faith (kerigma) and dogmatic definitions, including with the help of practical examples of how in modern conditions a certificate of Christ can be carried out.
The content of the collection repeats the structure of the conference itself, each of the three days of which was devoted to a separate narrow problem, with its own reports, round tables and discussions.
The large volume of the resulting materials did not allow the collection to include all the performances and statements of the participants.
Materials of this and previous collections can be of interest to catechists, which are important to get acquainted with various experience in modern conditions in the Russian Orthodox Church, as well as for all the issues of mission and catechization those interested in issues.
