The collection proposed to the reader contains letters from Metropolitan Tryphon (Turkestanov, 1861-1934)-one of the very revered hierarchs of the Russian Orthodox Church, a wonderful preacher and a spirit-bearing old man, a high-profile. The life path of Vladyka was multi -labor and diverse: serving a priest in a transit prison, episcopal service and ministry of a regimental priest at the advanced during the First World War, a trip to remote temples and monasteries, preaching, concerns for orphanage shelters, early liturgy in various temples of Moscow, Spiritism and wanderings (starting from the 20s up to death) in other people"s apartments.
