Archimandrite John (Kostyankin), 1910-2006 Elder, confessor of the Holy Assumption Pskov-Pechersky Monastery. The faithful Provision of God, Father John, through his whole life, carried the fire of faith, a constant prayer mood and sacrificial love for the Church and the flock of Christ. With warmth and concern for salvation, his pastoral words and labors turned to the driven and unknown spiritual children were filled. The high -exploratory sermons offered to the reader were pronounced by the priest at different times and at different parishes. For each sermon, Father John carefully prepared, working on them in writing.
